Emily is the founder of GigHero, NYC’s early career gig finder.

GigHero makes it easy for New Yorkers to find verified local talent. As a mom of three very busy kids, as well as a dog and home owner in NYC, Emily consistently found it challenging to source talented local candidates for jobs including tutoring, athletic coaching, babysitting, music instruction, handyman, dog walking and more.

As a former recruiter, she saw an opportunity to create a local network that would connect verified young gig seekers with families, organizations and small businesses. GigHero makes it easy to hire qualified local talent, and it is a place where early career job seekers can promote themselves professionally and for free.
